The Australian Radiation Protection Standard is based on the ICNIRP 1998 Guidelines. The guidelines are based on data collected in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. This is greatly concerning when we consider how many people actually used mobile phones back then and how few mobile antennas there were.
Not surprisingly, the guidelines and standards are convoluted and whitewashed with industry jargon, so the conversion chart below is supplied for your convenience to help you understand your EME reports downloaded from the RFNSA.
